Maite Garolera se ha especializado en la comprensi\u00f3n y mejora de la funci\u00f3n cognitiva y la conducta. Adem\u00e1s de los psic\u00f3logos que son el core, participan m\u00e9dicos y bi\u00f3logos, y en el que colaboran tecn\u00f3logos de distintos \u00e1mbitos. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el grupo C3-CST ha desarrollado las siguientes \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n: a) evaluaci\u00f3n neuropsicol\u00f3gica y rehabilitaci\u00f3n cognitiva; b) envejecimiento y neurodegeneraci\u00f3n; c) cognici\u00f3n, biomarcadores, neuroimagen (en obesidad y recientemente con COVID-19); d) tecnolog\u00eda y comportamiento. La investigaci\u00f3n fundamental de C3-CST es el estudio de los procesos psicol\u00f3gicos subyacentes a diversas afecciones m\u00e9dicas y mentales. Tambi\u00e9n trabaja en investigaciones traslacionales para probar la eficacia de las intervenciones psicol\u00f3gicas. Se dedica a desarrollar y evaluar m\u00e9todos TIC innovadores para mejorar el comportamiento, as\u00ed como la funcionalidad y calidad de vida. El grupo C3-CST colabora y tiene sinergias con distintas instituciones nacionales e internacionales. La Dra. Garolera pertenece al Grupo consolidado de Investigaci\u00f3n en Neuropsicolog\u00eda 2001SGR00139.
