Resum

El Servei d’Oncologia Mèdica del CST desenvolupa la seva activitat a més d’a nivell assistencial, també com a Grup de Recerca. Ens basem en la ferma convicció de que la investigació clínica és fonamental no només pel desenvolupament de nous tractaments, si no també per analitzar aspectes més transversals que tenen un alt impacte en els resultats en salut dels pacients. A banda, la investigació clínica és imprescindible pel manteniment d’un esperit científic crític en els professionals, i proporciona també excel·lents oportunitats terapèutiques pels malalts.
